Step 1: Cut the sheet of plywood into four square pieces, or ask a Lowe’s employee to make the cuts for you.
Step 2: Apply two coats of paint to the cork tiles, allowing to dry between coats. Secure the cork tiles to the plywood pieces using a hot-glue gun, and allow to dry. |  | |
Step 3: Cover the edges of each trivet with sisal rope, and secure with a hot-glue gun. On the undersides of the trivets, create feet by wrapping rope in small circles at each corner and securing with a hot-glue gun. |   | |
